WILSON - Fedrick Owens, 84, died Saturday, September 9, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II serving as a flight engineer, he was also a commercial pilot and had been a merchant in Stantonsburg, and was a retiree of the US Postal Service. Funeral, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service. Interment will be for and at the convenience of the family. Surviving: wife, Hilda Jones Owens; daughters, Rhapsody Squires of Wilson and Melody Cabe of Macon, GA.; sons, Patrick "Buddy" Owens, III of Wilson and Charles F. "Chuck" Owens, Jr. of Greenville; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home, Monday, 6-8:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to St. Timothy's Soup Kitchen, PO Box 1527, Wilson NC 27894.
