Robert Floyd Varnell, 80, of Wilson, died Sunday, December 6, 2015.
Funeral, Wednesday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Burial, Maplewood Cemetery.
Prior to retirement, he had worked with P. L. Woodard & Co and farmed before that.
He is survived by his wife, Cleo Batchelor Varnell; daughter, Martha Jo Sale (Barclay) of Fredericksburg, VA; sons, Bob Varnell (Carol) of Wilson and Stephen Varnell (Lucia) of Bailey; grandchildren, Robbie Varnell (Carmen), Josh Varnell (Denning), Jonathan Lane and Brittany Lane; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Varnell and Gavin Lane; brother, Charles Ed Varnell (Mary) of Flemingsburg, KY.
