George C. "G.C." Webb, Jr., 88, died Monday, May 16, 2011.
Funeral, Thursday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
G.C. operated a farm supply business in Weldon before retiring to Wilson several years ago to be near other relatives. In years of declining health, he and Glennie moved to Fayetteville to be with their son, David (Sherry). He was preceded in death by a son, John Douglas Webb; parents, George C. and Mittie Eva Forbes Webb; sister, Jocelyn Teal; brothers, Randolph, Jerrill and John Webb.
Surviving is his wife, Glennie Shirley Webb; sons, David Webb (Sherry) of Fayetteville and Larry Webb (Terry) of Nags Head; four grand-children; brothers, Wilton Webb (Flo) of Wilson and Bobby Webb of Wilmington.
