November 13, 1927 — August 31, 2015
WILSON - Gene B. Allgood, 87, of Wilson, died Monday, August 31, 2015.
Funeral, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will then adjourn to Wilson Memorial Service, for a time of visiting and sharing.
Mr. Allgood was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Britt Allgood. He graduated from Charles L. Coon High School in 1947, retired from Tobacco Processors and was a member of Mount Lebanon Masonic Lodge and the Shriners Sudan Temple.
He is survived by his sister, Joy A. Williams of Wilson; several nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 403 E. Front St, New Bern, NC 28560-4916 or to Grace Baptist Church, 202 Kincaid Ave, N, Wilson, NC 27893-2350.
