WILSON - George Lee Carraway, 85, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Funeral, Saturday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving is his closest friend and soulmate, Mae Ruth Carraway; daughter, Judy Fraley (Jimmy) of Cameron; sons, Jeff Carraway (Lisa) and Steven Carraway of Wilson; grandson, Brian Carraway; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Carraway; sisters, Inez Cherry and Barbara Latta of Wilson, Eloise Johnson of Elm City, Carolyn O'Neal of Tarboro, Jean Knight of Rocky Mount; brothers, Jesse Carraway of Elm City and Allen Gray Norris; sister-in-law, Christine Carraway. Memorials are suggested to the Highland Independent Church, 2006 Patterson Way, Wilson, NC 27893.
