WILSON - George J. Henry, Jr., 75, died Thursday, December 16, 2010. Funeral, Monday, 11 AM, First United Methodist Church, followed by a time of visiting. George graduated from the Citadel and retired from Merrill Lynch with over 25 years as an account executive. He was a part of the initial planning for Wesley Shelter and had served as a member and chairman for Wilson's Recreation, Planning and Industrial Committees. Surviving is his wife, Mabel Gray King Henry; daughters, Ann Henry of Wilson, Beth Henry of Durham and Laura Horn (Mike) of Raleigh; grandsons, Patrick Gray Horn and William Henry Horn; sister, Jean H. Long of Pensacola, FL. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27894.
