MIDDLESEX - George R. Thorne, 75, died Sunday, December 2, 2018.
Funeral, Tuesday, 7:00 PM Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Williams Thorne; daughters, Annette Pearson, Kathy Phillips (Randy) and Carol Whaley (Robbie) all of Wilson, Ashley T. Smith (Johnny) of Madison; sons, George Thorne, Jr (Aalexandria) of Goldsboro, Merle Thorne (Tonya) of Sims, Shawn Driver (Kayla) of Durham; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Genny Evans (Donnie) and Faye Denton of Wilson; brothers, David “Buddy” Thorne of Black Creek, Jesse Thorne (Sue) of Sims and Joseph Thorne (Doris) of Lucama.
