Georgia Webb Gardner, 92, of Wilson, died Monday, March 23, 2026.

Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, at Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation. Interment will be in Stantonsburg Cemetery.

Throughout her years, Mrs. Gardner was known for her remarkable skill in sewing quilts—a craft she approached with patience, artistry, and heart. Her quilts were not merely blankets but treasured pieces of warmth and comfort, each stitch reflecting her dedication and care. She shared this talent generously, leaving behind a legacy interwoven with memories and the lasting beauty of her handiwork. Above all, Mrs. Gardner was cherished as the best Mama, Grandmama, and Great Grandmama.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie Amerson (Martin) of Wilson and Debby Bell (Jerry) of Raleigh; son, Myron Gardner (Lucy) of Wilson; grandchildren, Brian Holland (Christian) of Fountain, Ashley Sebastian (Ryan) of Morganton, Erin McQueen (Brock) of Norfolk, VA, and Reagan Moreira (Tony) of Lucama; great-grandchildren, Teddy Holland (Stevie), Landon Sebastian, Aidan Sebastian, Thorin Moreira, Asher Moreira, Eleanor McQueen, and Alex McQueen.

Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gardner; parents, Johnny Guilford Webb and Ada Anna Howell Webb; brothers, Johnny Ray Webb and Staten Webb.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of WIlson for their care, dedication, and attention.
