Sims - Gladys Lucas Winborne, 93, died Monday, September 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Romer B. Winborne. Funeral, Thursday, 2:00 PM, Nobles Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Surviving: daughters, Peggy Raper (O.W.) and Helen Walston (Harry) of Sims, Evelyn Galloway and Jean Anderson of Wilson: sons, J. Gerald Winborne of Sims and R. Brooks Winborne (Sandra) of Smithfield: sisters, Ethelene Barnes and Ernestine Hamm (Hubert) of Wilson: 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family extends a special thank you to caregivers, Regina and Crystal and to Home Health &: Hospice Care (3HC). The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, N, Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
