EUREKA- Gordon R. Davis, 86, died Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009.
He enjoyed hunting and the sports of his children and grandchildren especially baseball and softball. Gordon had been active in the Booster Club at Charles B. Aycock and many of the projects in his church. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Davis.
Funeral, Saturday, 3:30 PM, Eureka United Methodist Church with burial in the Eureka Cemetery.
Surviving is his wife, Emily Little Davis; daughter, Pat Thompson of Goldsboro; sons, Buddy Davis (Terry) of Goldsboro and Parker Davis (Helen) of Wilson; grandchildren, Dave, Tonya and Michael Cloutier, Ryan Davis (April) and Jessica Davis, Jonathan, Eric, Jacob and Carson Davis; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ashlee and Sydney Cloutier; brother, Glenn Davis of Fremont.
The family will be at the church, Friday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
