Grace Shelton

WALSTONBURG - Grace Hardison Shelton, 92, of the Pop City Community, died Friday, July 13, 2018.

Funeral, Sunday, 4:00 PM, Walstonburg Christian Church, followed by time of visiting and sharing.  Burial will then be in Walstonburg Cemetery beside her husband, John Dow Shelton, who died in 1997.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry D. Shelton; her parents J.C. and Lala Cunningham Hardison; sisters, Bessie Fields, Marie Craft, Mildred Dudley, Evelyn Parrisher, Christine Gray, Myrtle Woodard and a brother, Ray Hardison.

Surviving is her daughter, Terri Skinner (Jim) of Walstonburg; son, Tim Shelton (Joni) of Saratoga; grandchildren, Corri McQuaid (Steve) and Walker Shelton; sister, Doris Craft of Saratoga and her daughter-in-law, Leslie Shelton of Pinehurst.

Memorials are suggested to the Walstonburg Christian Church or to Camp Caroline, 3398 Janiero Rd, Arapahoe, NC 28510.
