WILSON - Gwen Phillips Ballance, 58, died Friday, March 27, 2015.
Funeral, Tuesday, 1 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
Our compassionate hearted mother served many others and was loved by many for her serving heart. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Elisabeth Gray (Dewayne Whitley) of Wilson and Melissa Braswell of Lyons, GA; grandchildren Megan Braswell and Cody Braswell, Aaron, Andrew and Allie Whitley; great-grandchild, Jaramiah Carty; parents John and Frances Speight Phillips of Charlotte; sisters, Carol Currence and Gail Scott of Charlotte; brothers, Greg and Charles Phillips of Charlotte.
