WILSON - Howard Cecil Barnes, 92, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section JJ.
He was the son of the late Leonard Cecil Barnes and Addie Lee Boykin.
Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Kelly Barnes; daughters, Kelly Barnes of Rock Ridge and Patsy Rivenbark (Dannie) of Rocky Point; son, Howard Barnes, Jr (Gail) of Saulston; grandchildren, Chad Barnes (Renee) of Goldsboro, Beth Hampton (Allan) of Raleigh, Jason Rivenbark (Ashley) of Apex, and Ginnie Magrini (Jon) of Raleigh; six great-grandchildren; special friend, Amy Gunter of Wilson; sisters, Doris Lee Barnes of Rock Ridge, Sarah Tomlinson of Black Creek and Jean Simpson of Lucama.
The family will be at the home of their daughter, Kelly, 7560 Leonard Rd, Kenly (Rock Ridge community), Thursday, 6 - 8 PM.
