LUCAMA - Hardie Bailey, 80, died Sunday, October 8, 2017.
Funeral, Thursday, 7:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Friday, 10:00 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mr. Bailey was prededed in death by his wife, Dorothy Langley Bailey; parents, Herman and Katie Page Bailey; sister, Esther Evans; brothers, Willie, Hubert, Lonnie and Douglas Bailey. He was retired from Hackney Body Company.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Johnson (Keith) of Wilmington; son, Chris Bailey (Beverley) of Lucama; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Vick of Nashville, Rose Winstead of Wilson and Judy Whitley (Ken) of LaGrange; brother, James Bailey (Mattie Ruth) of Stantonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401-7335.
