Hilda Barnes

Hilda Taylor Barnes, 89, of Lucama, died Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Funeral, Wednesday, 10:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service.  Interment, Barnes Family Cemetery, Lucama.  The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Tuesday, 6-7:30 PM.

Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Barnes; parents, Grainger and Mary Ann Tedder Taylor; daughter, Starr Knopp; brothers, Royster and Bobby Ray Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Harris (Mickey) of Winterville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Perkins of Kenly; brother, Kirby Taylor (Sharon) of Rio Hondo, TX; faithful companion, Toby.
