WILSON - Howard K. Stancil, 87, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
Funeral, Saturday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Murphy Body Works. His parents were Jack C. and Amanda Ellis Stancil of Stantonsburg; he was also preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Langley and brothers, Sam and Bruce Stancil.
Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Clara Wheeler Stancil; daughter, Debbie Kraszeski (Stephan) of Jamestown; grandchildren, Elizabeth Kraszeski, Katherine Jackson (Justin), Sarah Kraszeski and Andrew Kraszeski; brothers, Jimmy Stancil of Elm City and Roland Stancil (Raymeta) of Rocky Mount.
The family will be at the funeral home, Friday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
