WILSON - Irene Warren Garrett Duke, 95, died November 13, 2014.
Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell L. Garrett and son, Melvin Garrett.
Irene is survived by her husband, Royce D. Duke, Sr.; daughter, Shirley Garrett Pittman (John) of Wilson; sons, Wayne Garrett (Sandra) of Wilson and Royce D. Duke, Jr (Sharon) of Elm City; daughter-in-law, Mary Garrett of Rocky Mount; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Aenon Baptist Church, 7503 Town Creek Rd, Elm City, NC 27822-9083.
