James Bass

James Albert Bass, 86, of Wilson, died Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Funeral, Monday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mr. Bass was retired parts manager at Lee Motor Company, and had served in the National Guard.

He is survived by his wife Mary Sutton Bass; sister, Jean Goff of Wilson; brother, Hilton Bass (Jo Ann) of Wilson; brother-in-law, Donnie Sutton (Tina) of Lucama; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mattie Lamm Bass, and nephew, Ty Goff.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5260 Old Raleigh Rd., Wilson NC 27893.
