ELM CITY - James S. Overman, Sr., 76, died January 10, 2014.
Funeral, Wilson Memorial Service, Tuesday, 1:00 PM, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Burial, Maplewood Cemetery.
James retired from Bridgestone/Firestone and attended Elm City Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann Cummings Overman; son, Jimmy Overman of Lucama; daughter, Kay L. Boykin (David) of Elm City; sons, David Liverman (Olivia) of Elm City, C.J. Liverman (Sandra) of Sims, Robert Liverman (Judy) of Zebulon and J.R. Liverman (Cheryl) of North Wilkesboro; sister, Ann Overman of NV; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
