FREMONT - James "Fats" Russell Sauls, 86, died Saturday, September 24, 2011.
Funeral, Tuesday, 7 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting. Interment, Wednesday, 10 AM, Elmwood Cemetery, Section C, Fremont.
Fats was known for barbecueing pigs for churches, civic groups and family reunions for many years. He had retired from fuel delivery and farming which began after his World War II Army service.
Surviving are his daughters, Sue Proctor of Fremont, Diane Tyndall (Brian) of Nahunta and Polly Effler (Tom) of Dudley; sons, Rusty Sauls of Fremont, Danny Sauls (Renee) of Pinkney and Billy Sauls (Delbra) of Pikeville; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren
The family will be at the home of Sue Proctor, Hwy 222 E, Fremont.
