Jane Pittman

Jane Wills Smith Williams Pittman, 85, of Angier, formerly of Wilson, died Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Funeral, Wednesday, 11:00 AM at Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation.

Mrs. Pittman retired as an administrative assistant at Standard Commercial Tobacco Company in 2002 and loved music and dancing.

She is survived by her daughters Valerie Moody (Tim) of Wake Forest, Michele Reed of Rocky Mount, and Jackie Hering (Ricky) of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Julian Pridgen, D.J. Reed, Megan Reed, Travis Reed, Kirsten Hering, and Abbey Hering; great-grandchildren, Addyson Pridgen, Ellie Pridgen, Averie Reed, Finnley Reed, Haisley Reed, and Hadley Reed.

Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Pittman; parents, Silas and Eva Showalter Wills; sisters, Virginia Lamb and Aileen Runkle; brothers, Silas, Robert, Glen, James, Estes, and Roy Lee Wills.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made Grace Baptist Church, 202 Kincaid Ave N, Wilson, NC 27893.
