Jasper Lee Johnson, 82, of Wilson, died December 20, 2023.

Funeral, Thursday, January 4, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Wilson Memorial Service.  Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.  The visitation will be, Wednesday, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM at Wilson Memorial Service.

He was born December 13, 1941 into a large family, with three brothers and four sisters, and his parents.

Jasper is survived by his wife, Beth Mumford Johnson; step-sons, Thad and James Sharp; daughter, Lorrie Johnson Bridgers (Stevie) of Middlesex; grandson, Dakota Whitley; sisters, Esther Windham (Charlie) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Kathleen Whitley (Dwight) of Kenly; brother, Walter Durwood Johnson (Bonnie) of Fremont.

Jasper was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Rachel Johnson; brothers, Carl Johnson and Riley Johnson; sisters, Lula and Rose.
