Jean Dixon

Jean Troutman Dixon, 92, of Wilson, died Friday March 8, 2024.

Funeral, Wednesday, 2:30 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service.  The visitation will be one hour before the funeral.

She is survived by her son, David Dixon (Cathy) of Wilson; daughter-in-law, Becky Dixon Bruinenburg (Marco) of Monroe; grandchildren, Ashley Burgess (Brandon) of Morrisville and Meredith Minor (Brian) of Monroe; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Wallace Troutman, Wade Troutman (Lucille), and Joe Troutman (Judy).

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton “Duke” Dixon; son, Dennis Dixon; granddaughter, Angie Dixon; brothers, Ray Troutman and Erwin Page; sister, Margaret Bell.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to caregivers Sheila Stone and Lulu Sharpe and of the staff at Hospice of Wilson and Wilson Pines.
