Jean Walston

Jean Pittman Walston, 81, of Wilson, died Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Funeral, Tuesday, 2:00 PM, at First United Methodist Church followed by visitation in Asbury Hall. Interment, Wednesday, 10:00 AM, at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Walston was an office manager and administrative assistant with several local businesses before retiring. Her longest tenure was serving as the office manager for local optometrist Dr. John Costabile for 20 years.

She is survived by her sons, Brent Walston (Catherine) of Wilson and Brian Walston (Mandy) of Clover, SC; grandchildren, Ian, Graham, Maddie, and Mason Walston; brother, Ken Pittman (Shirley) of Boiling Spring Lakes.

Mrs. Walston was preceded in death by her husband Randolph Walston in February 2024 and her parents, Clee David Pittman and Nettie Ellis Pittman.
