LUCAMA - Jerry Thomas Moore, 79, died Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

Funeral, Saturday, 11:00 AM, Spring Hill Presbyterian Church.  Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.  The visitation will be Friday, 6 - 7:30 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas May “Bud” Moore and Beulah Starling Moore.

Mr. Moore was retired from Yellow Freight and Thurston Motor Lines and was awarded the Million Mile Award.  He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing the vegetables he grew.

He is survived by his wife Ann Love Moore; son, J. Michael Moore of New York City; sisters, Annette Bass (Fred, Jr.), Sue Bass (John T.) and Yvonne Ferrell (Alonzo “Fuzzy”) all of Lucama; brother-in-law, Rev. Charles Love (Ann) of Wallace and sister-in-law, Faye Mumford of Lucama.

Memorials are suggested to the Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, 7246 Springfield School Rd, Lucama, NC 27851-9338.
