Jesse Currie

Jesse Franklin Currie, 74, of Wilson, born September 11, 1949, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 6, 2024. 

A service for his immediate family will be held at a later date.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 55 years Sandra Currie, his children, Eric (Donna), David (Amanda), and his beloved grandchildren, Austin, Kristin (Nick), Zachary, Evan, Emma, and Landan, and Jesse’s brothers Dennis (Betty Jo) and Reuben (Lori).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everette and Ruby Currie.

In lieu of flowers sent to the family, it is requested to give flowers, or a special gift, to the ones you love before they’re gone.

Jesse was a proud veteran and served his country in the Army National Guard for 6 years.  He was a 30 year retiree from T & H Electrical Corp., where he made many friends on many job sites. Jesse also enjoyed his recent part time jobs and all the people he met. 

Jesse especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be missed by family, friends and loved ones, especially his friends at Community Mart.
