WILSON - Jim M. "Speed" Mumford, 84, died Saturday, November 3, 2012.
Speed worked with Imperial Tobacco Company for more than 32 years and then Planters Bank, Rocky Mount, until retirement.
Funeral, Tuesday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Christine "Chris" Mobley Mumford; son, J. M. "Jay" Mumford, III, of Wilson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ann Mumford, and a son, Benjamin Mumford.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial, Monday, 6:30 - 8 PM.
