WILSON - James "Jim" E. Taylor, 65, died Monday, September 23, 2013.
Jim served in the Army 1st Calvary Division and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars. He worked for the N. C. Department of Corrections as a field officer for more than 30 years.
Funeral, Friday, 2:00 PM, First Baptist Church. His family will be in the Church Fellowship Hall for one hour prior to the funeral.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia "Pat" Williams Zalusky-Taylor; daughter, Jamie L. Taylor of Raleigh; son, James E. Taylor of Wake Forest; step-daughter, Marianne T. Yarbrough (Ken) of Wrentham, MA; step-sons, Raymond Zalusky (Amy) of Jacksonville, FL, and J.J. Zalusky of Virginia Beach, VA; seven grandchildren.
