Jimmy Rogers Strickland, 68, of Wilson died Sunday, January 31, 2010. He was a retired Navy and Air Force veteran and had worked in the plastic industry. Funeral, Tuesday, 6 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Surviving is his wife, Juanita Smith Strickland, formerly of Pikeville; daughter, Tammy Weaver of Smithfield; grandson, Shaun Weaver; step-daughter, Sheila Terry Horan of Wilson; step-son, Stephen Terry of CA; step-grandson, Owen Horan Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1209 Peachtree Rd, NW, Wilson NC 27896.
