Jo Melody Luther

Jo-Melody Scott Luther, 71, of Wilson, died Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Funeral, Wednesday, 12:30 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.  Burial, Thursday, Pine Bluff Cemetery, Pine Bluff, NC.

Surviving is her daughter, Heather Jo Luther of Wilson; several nieces and nephews; her former husband, Roger Luther of Wilson.

Melody was born in Edenton to the late Rev. Julian Warren Scott and Edna Meadows Scott; a brother, Julian “Warren” Scott, Jr. also preceded her in death. 

Memorials are suggested to West Nash United Methodist Church, 2200 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896.

Her family is especially thankful for the years of tender loving care she received from the staff of Wilson Pines.
