Joseph E. “Joe” Hales, 80, of Lucama, died Thursday, July 7, 2022.
Funeral, Saturday, 10:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
Joe was preceded in death by his son, Joey Hales in 2011; parents, Fernie and Martha Barnett Hales; sister, Irene Moyer; brothers, Ray, Elbert and Wayne Hales.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Bunn Hales; daughter, Pam Ortiz of Wilson; grandchildren, Maria Ortiz, T. J. Hale and Justin Hales; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Posas-Ortiz, Ava Posas-Ortiz, Lily Marie Hales, Liam Hales and Leighana Barnette; sisters, Linda Hudson, Shirley Barrett and Juanita Harris.
