John Crowder

John Garland Crowder, 81, of Lucama, died Monday December 4, 2023.

A graveside service will be Thursday, 11:00 AM at Upper Black Creek Church Cemetery, 7613 Upper Black Creek Church Rd, Lucama.  The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at 7020 Great Swamp Loop, Lucama.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Geneva Ezzell Crowder; sisters, Josephine Jones and Irene Stott and brother, Grover Crowder.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Moore Crowder; sons, Darrell Crowder (Barbara) of Middlesex, Glenn Crowder (Karen) of Fremont, Chris Crowder (Gina) of Wilmington, and Gary Crowder (Nancy) of Bailey; stepdaughter, Robin Stevens of Pikeville; sister, Becky Evans of Elm City; brother, Joe Crowder of San Antonio, TX; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
