Elijah "John" Thomas, Jr., 88, of Stantonsburg, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
Funeral, Evergreen Memorial Park, Sunday, 2:00 PM.
John is survived by his wife, Doris Corbitt Thomas; daughters, Melinda Boykin (Charlie) of Wilson and Hope Thomas of Wilson; son, Tommy Thomas (Faye) of Rocky Mount; step-daughter, Charlene Joyner of Nashville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Esther Ellis Thomas; daughters, Patricia Butts and Cathy Erdman; sisters, Alice Lambert, Annette Taylor and Esther Haynes; brothers, Wade Thomas and Paul Thomas; step-son, Allen Moseley; step-grandchildren, Shannon Farmer and Misty Joyner.
