John Whitley
January 30, 1960 — May 6, 2022
John Hassell Whitley, 62, of Wilson, died Friday, May 6, 2022.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 11, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Milbournie FWB Church, EWB Fellowship Hall, 5106 Raleigh Road Pkwy, Wilson. A graveside service for the family will be held at a later date.
Mr. Whitley is survived by daughter, Amber Whitley of Wilson; son, Tyler Whitley (Lee Ann) of Wilson; granddaughters, Allyson & Meredyth; grandson, Hunter; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is also survived by special friends, Peggy W. Lamm and Randy Parris.
Preceding him in death was his parents; Marcellus Forbes and Dona Elizabeth Brantley Whitley; brother, Robert Forbes Whitley.
