Johnny Goff

Johnny Edgar Goff, 78, of Wilson, died Monday, September 8, 2025.

Funeral, Tuesday, September 16, 2:00 PM, at Stantonsburg Cemetery.

Johnny graduated from Greene Central High School, and was a lab technician for DuPont. He also served in the Army Reserves and was an avid UNC Tarheel fan.

Johnny is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Jo Etta Worthington Goff; son, Johnny Brent Goff; step-son, Vince Strickland (Tabatha); grandchildren, Davis Strickland (Morgan), Makenzie Strickland Sewell (Evan), and Morgan Strickland; great-grandchildren, Beau and Greyson Strickland; brother, Jimmy Elijah Goff (Barbara).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Essie Mae Jones Goff, and his daughter, Elizabeth Renee Goff.
