EUREKA - Joyce Varnell Davis, 79, died, Thursday, November 3, 2016.
Funeral, Saturday, 3:00 PM, Eureka United Methodist Church. Interment, Eureka Cemetery. The family will be at the church, Friday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson and Sadie Owens Varnell and daughter, Jennifer Davis. She had retired after 40 years as a registered nurse in Wilson and Goldsboro.
Surviving is her husband, Charles T. Davis, Jr; daughters, Nora Aycock (Gary) of Pikeville and Lisa Friesen (Kevin) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Andrew Friesen, Jonathan Friesen, Nicole Ardes (Reese) and Logan Aycock; brother, Jerry Varnell (Faye) of Smithfield.
