Joyce Walston

Joyce Ruth “Porky” Walston 86, of Lucama, died Friday, April 5, 2024.

Funeral, Monday, 2:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation.

Joyce retired from Wrangler with 35 years of service.  She always owned a Ford Mustang and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

She is survived by her sister, Lynda Mooring (Bobby) of Lucama; nieces, Annette Walston, Deena Mellons, Michele Winstead, and Riley Grimes; nephews, Todd O’Neal, Mark Walston, and Jayden Cavenaugh.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents William Wilson Walston and Cleo Belle McKeel Walston; brothers, William “Bo” Walston and Claude Walston.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lucama Church of God, PO Box 40, Lucama, NC 27851.
