Judy O'Neal

Judy Newsome O’Neal, 73, of Fremont, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

The funeral will be for and at the convenience of the family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Emily Minshew Newsome and a sister, Jean Thorne.  She was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church, and many will remember her many years of service at the Fremont Pharmacy.

She is survived by her husband, Joel D. O’Neal; daughter, Melissa Flores (Dan) of Erwin; son, Jody O’Neal (Gena) of Wilson; grandchildren, Ryan and Kristina Flores, Drew and Nate O’Neal; sisters, Nancy Mooring (Allen) of Rocky Mount and Linda Huggins (Van) of Kinston; brother, Buck Newsome of Fremont; puppy, Effie May.
