Karen Webb

Karen Webb, 50, known to many as “K.K.”, of the Dunn's Crossroads Community, Elm City, died unexpectedly Friday, January 31, 2025. 

Her family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Monday, 6:00 – 7:30 PM, for a time of visiting and sharing. A graveside service will be Friday, February 7, 2:00 at Evergreen Memorial Park. 

She will be deeply missed by her surviving family including her mother, Frances Cox Webb, with whom she lived; sister, Paula Parrish and her son, David, of Bailey, his wife Vanessa and their two children: Roman and Bella; brother, Joey Webb (Cheryl Barefoot) of Rocky Mount, his sons Chris and Tyler Webb and daughter Amanda Kunkel (Richard) of Farmville and their two children, Braden and Keeley and a large extended family of aunts including Sandy Raby (Alvin) of Wilson, Maxine Barnes (Randy) of Wilson, Katherine and her two daughters Kim Baines (Jody) of Wilson, Holly Wilkins (Jackie) of Wilson, her Uncle Paul Cox of Wilson, Russell and Judy Webb of Wilson, Tammy Brock (Mike) of Wilson, Kim Shackelford of Wilson, Michael Webb (Lisa) of Wilson, and Melissa Meyerhoffer (Betty Lou Cox and family). Karen (KK) also had many friends whom she loved including Brandy West and Laura, Jennifer Boykin, Lisa Stith, Todd Carter, Heather Tiffany, Julie Holland,  and so many more. 

KK was the best friend a person could have and was well respected and known in the community for her great personality and superb workmanship. She could do anything she put her mind to doing. She was an artist of many talents and great pool player. The family is grateful for the short time they had to spend with her in her life and will forever treasure those glorious memories. 

Her father, Joe A. Webb, died in 2016.
