Katheryn Wooten Walston, 79, of Elm City passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

Funeral, Friday, 1:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service. The visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.

Katheryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Nelton Walston; brother, Bobby Wooten (Faye) of Elm City; two sons; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 2200 Downing St SW, Wilson, NC 27893.
