Larry Felton

OXFORD - Larry Thomas Felton, 74, a native of Wilson, died Thursday, December 6, 2018.

A visitation will be Saturday, December 15 at Wilson Memorial Service from 12:00 - 1:30 PM.

Larry graduated from Ralph L. Fike High School in 1962 and was Vietnam veteran having served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army.  He retired as a supervisor with 30 years of service from Embarq Telephone Company.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Wilkins Felton; daughter, Kristy Felton of Oxford; brothers, Bill Felton of Gulf Shores, AL and Jack Felton of Wilson; sisters, Faye Felton of Wilson, Rose Hawley of Kenly, Barbara Toler (Maurice) of Raleigh and Judy Edwards (Rev. Charles) of Winston-Salem.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William R. and Mearl Pearson Felton; sister, Rose Hawley; sister-in-law, Ellen Felton; father and mother-in-law, Fate M. Wilkins, Sr. and Agnes L. Wilkins and brother-in-law, Fate M. Wilkins, Jr.
