LUCAMA - Laura Flowers Barnes, 89, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019.

Funeral, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery conducted by Dr. De Wayne Eakes, Rev. Ray Wells and Rev. Kelley Smart.  The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Monday, 6:30 – 8:00 PM.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harold Barnes in 2000; and parents, Mitt Downing Flowers and Johnie W. Flowers; brother, Johnie W. Flowers, Jr.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by her daughter, Johnnie Marie Baker (Larry) of Overland Park, KS; sons, Greg Barnes (Barbara) of Kenly and Jeff Barnes (Gwen) of Lucama; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Doris F. Davis of Wilson; special friends and caregivers, Gwen Burgess and Dennis Minshew.

A special thanks and gratitude is extended to Linda Hill and staff with Community Home Care and Hospice.
