WILSON - Leigh Etheridge Mantooth, 87, died Saturday, January 21, 2017, in her home.
Funeral, Monday, 2:00 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends, Monday, 12:30 - 1:30 PM, Forest Hills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mantooth was the widow of Millard Mantooth who died in February, 2013 and was also preceded by her parents, James and Mary Etheridge and brothers, Wiley and James Etheridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickey M. O'Conney of the home; granddaughter, Shannon Peeler (Chris) of Spring Hope; grandson, Richard Parrish and his partner, Keith Sessoms, of Greensboro; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Worrell and Caiden Peeler; sisters, Verdie Bass and Judy Connor (Tommy) of Wilson, Yvonne Dail (Jerry) of Stantonsburg and Bobbie Barfield of Charlotte; brother, Johnny Etheridge of Mooresville.
