Linda Batten Farmer Moore, 89, of Bailey, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Linda retired from Teledyne Thermatics in her early 50s, where she worked in the office for many years. She loved to fish and could outfish anyone who fished with her. She enjoyed breakfast and shopping trips with her special best friend, Judy Parker. Linda loved unconditionally and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Angie Farmer of Bailey; sons, Jeff Farmer (Brenda) of Wilson and Jan Farmer (Billie Jo) of Elm City; grandchildren, Christie, April, Brittany, Sidney, Morgan, and Rylee; great-grandchildren, Steven, Kinsley, Chase, Elena, Ella, and Ben; sisters, Sharon Crabtree (Billy) of Rocky Mount and Pam Johnson of Wilson.
