WILSON - Linda Kaye Winebarger Smith, 65, died Monday, March 10, 2014.
Service of Remembrance, Wednesday, 3:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
Her husband of 43 years, Douglas A. Smith, died in December, 2009.
Linda was born on May 14, 1948, in Winston-Salem to the late Randall William and Juanita Dare Brooks Winebarger. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia W. Wood.
She leaves to cherish beautiful memories, her daughter, Kimberly S. Stallings (Jonathan) of Garner; sons, Douglas A. Smith, Jr (Jaime) of Wilson and Scott Smith (Melissa Boyd) of Nashville; grandchildren, Austin and Taylor Stallings, Hunter and Dylan Smith and Brooklynn Smith; sister, Barbara W. Harvey (Boyd) of Germantown and their son, Rev. Dr. Jason W. Harvey of Greensboro, who will conduct the funeral.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A special thanks is extended to the Wilson County Home Builders Association for their support and encouragement following her retirement just last December.
