Louise Hight
May 4, 1904 — December 28, 2012
WILSON - Louise Church Hight, 101, died peacefully in her home on Friday, December 28, 2012.
Funeral, Winstead United Methodist Church, Saturday, January 5, 2:00 PM, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Park, with her husband, Fred M. Hight, Jr., who died in 1995.
Surviving is her daughter, Tamsy Hight-Stokes (John) of Pittsboro; son, Fred Hight, III (Sanda) of Wilson; grandchildren, John W. Stokes, III and Mort Hight of Durham, Johanna H. Friess of Oceanside, CA; four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband were her parents, Carl G. and Mamie Brown Church; infant daughter, Julia Catherine Hight; sisters, Helen Brown and Mike Williams; brothers, Col. Norwood Church and Cecil Church.
Her family is grateful for her loving caretakers, Brenda Horne and Debra Johnson and to her faithful friend and companion, Jean Willingham.
The family will be at the home of Fred, 1201 Branch St, NW, Wilson 27893.
