Luther Earl Bass, Jr., 84, of Wilson, died Sunday, August 1, 2021, at
the SECU Hospice House, Smithfield.
Funeral, Wednesday, 3:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, with visiting one hour prior to the funeral. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
Surviving is his wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Driver Bass; daughter, Kim Sessoms (Brian) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Sara Sessoms, Joshua Sessoms, Matthew Sessoms of Rocky Mount; sister, Mary Alice Bottoms (Charles) of Elm City; brother, Leonard Bass (Jean) of Elm City; special cousin, Linda McKeel of Four Oaks.
Memorials are suggested to Gethsemane Baptist Church, PO Box 785, Elm City, NC 27822.
