ELM CITY - Madge Phillips Jernigan, 94, died Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Funeral, Thursday, 6:00 PM at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment will be Friday, 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park.
She is survived by daughters, Cynthia J. Hare (Marvin) of Edenton, Helen J. Haney (Mike) of Goldsboro, Martha J. Bailey (Danny) of Wilson, Nancy J. Proctor (John, Jr.) of Raleigh and son, Randy T. Jernigan (Mary) of Kill Devil Hills; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Madge was preceded in death by her husband, Thad Jernigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Elm City Baptist Church, PO Box 667, Elm City NC 27822.
