Stantonsburg - Mamie Holloman Mooring, 84, died November 20, 2007. She was the preceded in death by her husband, Elgin C. Mooring, and parents, James and Betsy Holloman. Funeral, Saturday, 2 PM, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2615 Tilghman Rd, Wilson, with visiting one hour prior to the funeral. Burial, Stantonsburg Cemetery. Surviving is a daughter, Lib Yates (Dick) of Chapel Hill: son, Jay Mooring (Susan) of Fayetteville: brother, Garland Holloman (Ann) of Vinton, VA: 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Humanitarian Fund, c/o Bishop Aaron Mitchell, 5610 Lakehaven Ct, Wilson 27896. of Chapel Hill; son, Jay Mooring
