Marge Gurgone

With heavy hearts, but joyful celebration of her entrance to Heaven, we announce the passing of Margaret Arndt Gurgone who left this world on December 29, 2025.

The visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 11:30-1:00, at Peace Church, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00.

Marge lived a life rooted in sacrifice, family, love, and connection. She was the epitome of a great mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, unselfishly serving those she loved and doing whatever she could for the benefit of her family.

Above all else, Marge cherished family, her boys, and their wives, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her husband of 58 years.

Marge also took great joy in quilting with her friends from the quilting ministry.

Though deeply missed, Marge’s love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of family and friends forever.

She is survived by her husband James Edmond Gurgone; sons, Dennis Gurgone (Lynn), Greg Gurgone (Becky), and Jimmy Gurgone (Christy) of all of Wilson, and Dan Gurgone (Tina) of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Jacob (Brittney), Seth (Kristen), Chase, Nicholas, Victor, Danielle, and Elijah Gurgone; great-grandchildren, Parker and Rhett Gurgone; sister, Carol LaPaglia of Colorado.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Mabel Catterson Arndt and sister, Jeanette Arndt.
